Harvey Konigsberg was born in New York City in 1940. He studied at NewYork University and the University of Miami. After completing his studies in 1964, he returned to New York City to pursue his career.
In 1965 Mr. Konigsberg began studying Aikido, and in 1972 began training in Iaido. He now holds 7th Dan rank in Aikido and Dan ranking in Iaido. He is an instructor at the New York Aikikai and the Chief Instructor at the Woodstock Aikikai in Woodstock, New York.
Mr. Konigsberg currently maintains a studio in Woodstock,
New York.
