| For HTTP streaming, the faster the internet connection the better the quality of streaming you can receive
In order, to set-up your QuickTime application or your browser's plug-in for your internet connection speed, follow these directions:
1) Within QuickTime application go to the preferences menu and choose connection speed, once opened select the correct speed for your current connection (28K, 56K, ISDN, T1)
2) Within your browser, if you have a QuickTime video already playing, go to the pull down menu in the bottom right hand of the QuickTime frame and select plug-in settings and then connection speed and select as above.
3) Refresh your page in the browser or reselect your URL within the QuickTime player to see the version of the movie produced for the selelcted speed.

The QuickTime videos on this site have been produced in multiple versions, each one optimized for a specific connection speed. Set-up the QuickTime player and it will play the correct version for your connection speed automaticly.
You need to allow time for the videos to load (time will vary by connection speed and type of streaming), once enough data is downloaded the videos will start to play.
Once a video has played, you can go to any part of the video by dragging the handle along the timebar track at the bottom of the player window or by clicking your cursor at any point along the track.
